Meet Lynn Kohl

I'm Lynn Kohl, the passionate baker and artist behind Kohl's Kookies. What started as a simple hobby quickly transformed into a desire to create beautiful pieces of edible art. I couldn't keep these creations to myself, so I decided to share them and bring joy to life's most precious occasions.

Years ago, I dabbled in making custom birthday and wedding cakes on a part-time basis. However, as life got busier with raising a family, my time in the kitchen took a back seat. Little did I know that the pandemic would lead me back to my artistic side.

 In 2021, I decided to give sugar cookies a try. Initially, cookies always made me a little nervous, but with extensive research and countless hours of practice, I found myself falling head over heels into the world of cookie artistry.

When I'm not baking, I work as a seasoned Life Insurance Underwriter, bringing over 30 years of experience to the table. It's a career that has taught me the value of attention to detail and precision—qualities that I now bring into my cookie creations.

Beyond baking, I also find joy in capturing moments through photography, exploring nature through hiking adventures, and connecting with the world on horseback rides.
